Quite possibly one of the best books I've ever read. Where Breaking Dawn was a major disappointment, this book simply rocked. This, my friends, is how to end a series.

Yes, A Straight-Jacket Would Be Nice.
Sorry, but I need a moment.
With three hours and some odd minutes until the release of Breaking Dawn, I really need to rant.
As any obsessed Twilighter would know, the summary of Breaking Dawn has been kept securely under wraps. This leads me to worry. What if Edward is killed? What if Bella leaves Edward for Jake (gag!)? There has to be some disaster that would upset the fans. I have reached no other conclusion. You know, minus the fact that they just wanted to build the anticipation. More sales? I don't know. Even Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows was leaked before the release, and I must say I'm proud of everyone who worked to keep B.D. from the same fate. Even though I want to know as much as the next person. And need I bring up that Eclipse knocked the final H.P. book off its #1 spot when it was released? More power to the vampires!
I really don't know why these books are so great. I know I want to think it's Edward, but... As critics say Bella makes a pretty poor heroine, her world just going to the dogs once her man leaves her. That doesn't make a very good role model to anyone, I would think. "But Melanie, I don't know if Stephenie Meyer intended Bella to be anyone's role model." Yes, I know this. But she does make a crappy leading lady anyway. (Edward picks up her slack :D). And I think everyone can admit Bella gets on their nerves every once and awhile. Sure, she is only in her teens throughout the first books, and everyone is a little whiny then, but still... And what about true love? Wasn't that what made Edward and Bella's relationship so appealing? I know that was part of it for me. And then Bella goes and falls in love with Jacob too? (What blackened your soul Stephenie Meyer?!?) Very nice.
I'm definitely Team Edward all the way. If Bella and Edward don't have a happy ending at the end of Breaking Dawn, I'll join the mob with pitchforks and torches swarming Meyer's house. Metaphorically speaking. I have faith in her, though. Go Bella Cullen!
I think a lot of the girls who read the Twilight saga are definitely infatuated with Edward, not to mention all the Cullens. Vampirism is defenitely made quite, I don't know, sexy? That doesn't seem like the right word, but it'll do. And Kait, Alissa and I have added the vampire trait to the list of requirements for proper mate material, before or after running after a bus for us in rush hour traffic. But is it really the undead that makes Edward so appealing? I'm completely convinced it has something to do with his utterly unabridged unselfishness (yay alliteration! Say that five times fast...). He doesn't care, in the end, who Bella chooses or what happens as long as she's happy. So, maybe there is hope for us afterall. Our Edward Cullen is out there somewhere, he just might be a tad warmer and have a beating heart. And, you know, a normal diet. More or less.
Um...I'm running out of rant material. I'm sure if I think of more Twilight trains of thought I'll come and add it...

If Life Is A Joke, Why Aren't We Laughing?
Ah, sweet boredom.
Honestly, waking up just before 5 in the morning and delivering papers only takes up at least 2 hours of my long 25-hour day. Yes, 25. It sure feels that way. But Melanie, 1 hour more then everyone else isn't that much. Oh, but it is.
Boredom is no one's friend.
Tomorrow could possibly tie as one of the longest days of my life. Tied with what, you may ask? Well that would be tied with the last two weeks of my life. Sure, not being at work is grand, but the video for I Kissed A Girl and every other crappy song on all the music channels I waste my life on gets old after about the 2,500 time. And sure, Michael Ian Black is highly entertaining but after watching I Love The 80's more times than the average homo sapien, you wish you hadn't lived in the 80's. Even if you didn't live during the 80's.

Oh, but I forgot to explain myself. Why will tomorrow be one of the longest days of my life? Not because this particular day has 26 hours, but because Breaking Dawn becomes available to my eager hands at 12:01 a.m. August 2nd. And I will be eagerly waiting to attend the Breaking Dawn release party event at my local Barnes And Noble to pick up said novel. With Alissa, Maddy and Kaitlyn at spat camp and Zoey at the lake I will have no one to ease the wait. So I'll be stuck with the above-mentioned life-wasting TV crap. But Melanie, the internet is always available. Well, that would lead me to, as Seth the webmaster describes it, B.D. Countdownitis, on the Twilight website (see, http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/index.html. The Breaking Dawn quotes are also nice). Watching those silly silly milliseconds wind down the hours of my wait. That would be bad. And Twilighting is not good for the brain either.
Oh, the pain.

Title Under Construction
So a lot of weird stuff is happening at school these days. And I'm not just talking about the Teriyaki Chicken Chunks at lunch today... But, I'm not quite sure who or what to believe, so if I'm a little stressed out - you probably know why.
Today in Hellth, we did all diseases and impairments of the female sexual system along with childbirth, and boy, do I not want to have children. Ever. Or use tampons... Wehrkamp ruins EVERYTHING. Not that there's much you can ruin about menstruation.
Would you find it weird if a person my age walked into the library, got one novel and about 15 children's books? Because I thought it was odd, and I didn't have to check myself out. (Not like that...)
The number of times I've almost killed me and other people while driving has drastically increased as of late. Lane changing is a lot harder than it looks, sheesh. And your car shifting to Neutral basically on it's own in the middle of a turn on a busy street is not a good thing either. On Saturday, I started driving with our instructor for the exam. I. Hate. It. I've relayed the whole story several times, and I'm not about to type it up, either. Too much mental pain...
Well, those are my thoughts for today. Piano recital coming up next weekend, and I practiced once this week. I have to give my huge, semester test controversial speech this week, finished it yesterday, and our Oral Interp. presentations and catapault start on the 5th and 6th of May. God, I hope school is almost over. I can't handle these huge projects anymore...

And yes, I did catch the dagger looks she was sending me as I read - completely ignoring her.
