Livin' Life, Life In The Fast Lane

Besides blatantly stating that I haven't posted anything here for over a month, we'll just assume everyone noticed my absence. Oh, I've been on the computer plenty since May 11, no need to worry about my general health. I've just completely ignored the blog.

School ended. Obviously. Summer started. I'm working. At camp, you may ask? Oh, no my friends. I didn't willingly head back into that disaster. I'm working at Sanford in nutrition and food service. I deliver food carts, I do dishes, and I get paid for doing a lot of standing around. I just got a shiny $240.39 paycheck on Thursday, so that's always fun. The job's certainly easy, if not disgusting most of the time. If you like playing the game where-does-this-pan-that-looks-exactly-like-the-last-one-I-put-away-but-with-a-slightly-different-shape-go?, then this would be the job for you.

That's about all that's changed in the last month, besides more sleep and free time. And warmth. There's also been a significant increase in size of my CD collection. Let's see, I've gotten a copy of blink-182's Greatest Hits, While The City Sleeps, We Rule The Streets by Cobra Starship, the Jonas Brothers' album which just came out this week, Lines, Vines And Trying Times, The Yippee EP by NeverShoutNever!, and There For Tomorrow's new album A Little Faster which is crazy awesome. I guess not that significant when I type it out like that, but still. It's the buying of things that's important. Jobs are exciting like that. They give you money to buy things you don't necessarily need. Like fish. I bought a fish. His name is Suarez. Like the bassist of Cobra Starship. "He's got that Spanish blood in him! He can enjoy the wine!"

Speaking of which, the Believers Never Die show was freakin' great. 'Nuff said. Plus it was a pretty long time ago for talking about concerts, and I don't think my description would suit the awesomeness of that concert. Jonas Brothers is up next, and with all the preparations and influx of Jonas obsessions, I may be even more excited. We'll go for an immediate update on that. With pictures. And a more successful countdown!

How many days until the Jonas Brothers concert?
17 days!

One day before the Jobros concert, All Time Low releases their new album, Nothing Personal. They've released two singles from that and they're great. Go listen and buy them now. I'm so excited for that CD I don't even comprehend how excited I am. I have my own personal countdown on my whiteboard for that one. 16 days. What a wait.

Blog updated. Check. I promise to at least make an effort here now, so until next time...

There's A Few Things I Should Say Before I Make My Way

Sorry, but you're going to have to deal with a lack of posting. My computer's being a royal pain in the ass these days, and I just try to ignore it as much as possible to be honest with you. Hotmail, Facebook and any sort of videos are pretty much inaccessible and the pop ups are killing me. Plus, as usual, I have nothing to talk about.

The Audition's Self-Titled Album came out today! Buy it! It's great!

Madina Lake's From Attics To Eden also came out. I had already owned that though. Heh.

The headache that was Jane Eyre is finally over and I managed to not completely bomb the test. We're onto another book now, a contemporary book of our choice at that. I'm reading Naughts And Crosses. Ever heard of it? Me neither, not 'til now anyway. It seems pretty good though.

This is going to be a pretty lame countdown since I don't plan on posting a lot, but here goes:

How long until The Believers Never Die, Part Deux Show?: 20 days!

I can't believe I'm announcing this on the internet of all places, but most of you have probably also heard that me and my mom and sister will be attending a Jonas Brothers concert this summer as well. I'm not going to lie, I am excited. But we'll wait to start that countdown. Please don't humiliate me too much.

Got Nothin' On Them

So I'm not a huge Jonas Brothers fan or anything, but I have their songs and I do listen to them on occasion. They're talented and they write catchy music, and there is no getting past that they are just some of the nicest people. The last video I posted happened to be a Jonas Brothers one as well, more bashing them than anything, and I just stumbled on this one. It's a cute story and it had me close to drowning in a puddle of my own tears at the end. So watch.

Well, it won't work. But here's the link. I'm sure external videos will be fine for you. So watch.

Instantly Win!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Yay...internet! I'm back! I know you all had a horrible interneting experience without me, so I'm here again to relieve you! Not like that! Do the exclamation points make everything I say more exciting?! I think so!! There were TWO on that one!

Well, if you couldn't tell, my internet is fixed and we've also added about 600 channels to one of our TVs...the magic of Midco...So now I'll post something nice for you all. I don't have the time or attention span to update you on my life since May 20th 'til now, so I'll just give you a list for now:
  • I got a job at Camp Leif Ericson and it sucks.
  • Horses suck.
  • I haven't gotten paid yet and it sucks.
  • My mother is keeping a list of everything I buy and I have to pay her back with money I haven't earned yet...and it sucks.
  • I'm about $300 in debt courtesy of the above bullet.
  • It sucks.
  • The Panic At The Disco concert was AMAZING!
  • I can now legally drive by myself between the hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Black is the new black.
  • Camp Rock is the typical Disney Channel Original Movie but it has *cringe* made me a kinda-sorta Jonas *cringe* Brothers fan...*cringe*
  • But they're all still ugly.
  • There's a guy who works at camp who's the spitting image of Kevin Jonas...
  • My Powerspace sunglasses came in the mail! I was super excited for them!
  • Today one of my Powerspace sunglasses got stepped on by a horse...and survived.
  • Silly plastic sunglasses are indestructable.
  • I left said Powerspace sunglasses at camp...
  • I got a new DS and Pokemon Diamond.
  • I got a cell phone. Most of you probably know that. So the last month and five days haven't been entirely wasted on Pokemon
Well, that should hold you over until I have something new to say... Until next time...
