A Place In Time

This is me writing a speech *wink.* I really underestimated the sadness of Across the Universe. I watched it right after I got it yesterday and was near tears many times. Or maybe I just got wimpier since last seeing it. Who knows! I found this amazing website when I was "researching" for my speech. If you ever get bored, I'm sure you could entertain yourself for awhile HERE. I also found this guy on YouTube who gives tutorials on how to play songs on the piano. I learned a few...

That IS me playing that. Not that it's much. Very easy, and you could learn that from the YouTube guy easily even if you didn't play piano. But it made me feel real accomplished. And I also wanted to see what would happen when I attempted to upload a video...and it's taking forever. 9M/41M. Pfft.
I also learned Clocks by Coldplay and Mad World by Gary Jules. Or at least very small parts of them. And of course my Lying Is the Most Fun from Denver. Most coolest of ALL! ...12M/41M...

We haven't read out of Romeo and Juliet, so I have no dirty Elizabethan-Era comments for you. Speaking of that, there's another essay I need to write...

I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts...

Happy ACROSS THE UNIVERSE DAY! Or at least in my world it is. Probably February 5 in yours...but no matter! Also DANCING DAY for those of you 'involved" people trying out for Footloose. (Involved being a state of mind). Not that I frown upon being involved in extracurricular activities. It looks good on the college applications I hear. I wish bunches of luck to you all!

Today in English, we began reading the Shakespearean classic, Romeo and Juliet. And let me tell you...it is DIRTY! I enjoyed it way too much. Plus being able to brandish weapons in the same room as Mrs. Wallenberg was nice...even if the maximum amount of damage one could inflict would be a good bruise... So now, to honor the dirtiness of Romeo and Juliet, I will be posting a log. Of everything dirty they say. Feel free to skip it if it means nothing to you. I won't be *sniffle* offended...*sob*
Dirty Comments - Act One, Scene One (<--- Crimson, for bloodshed...)
  • "...thrust his maids to the wall."
  • "Me they shall feel while I am able to stand; and 'tis known I am a pretty piece of flesh."
  • "What, ho!"
  • "Draw thy tool!"
  • "My naked weapon is out."
  • "Give me my long sword, ho!"
MORE REASONS TO WASH YOURSELF TOMORROW!
