late nights we'll burn our past,
we'll live our lives like falling stars.
the way i see we've come so far
and hey, i must say:
step back to where we were,
feels like ten thousand years before.
the moment that you'd shut the door
i'd say,
i'd say how about we get away?

Favorite Song Of The Week

Oh, this song seems so old now. I've had it forever. I haven't been listening to MCR for, lets face it, a very long time. But this song has popped up a lot lately, and I've missed it. I never really realized how powerful it was. It holds a lot of meaning, not necessarily to me, but it's some pretty awesome MCR lyrical art. And I love it. The video is still frightening though. Oh, and that little thing about videos not working I mentioned in the post below? Yeah, same goes for pictures. So let me once again state how much effort I put in for you people.

MY FAVORITE SONG THIS WEEK IS...

Famous Last Words
by: My Chemical Romance

Now I know
That I can't make you stay
But where's your heart?
But where's your heart?
But where's your...

And I know
There's nothing I could say
To change that part
To change that part
To change...

So many
Bright lights, they cast a shadow
But can I speak?
Well is it hard understanding
I'm incomplete
A life that's so demanding
I get so weak
A love that's so demanding
I can't speak

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

Can you see
My eyes are shining bright
Cause I'm out here
On the other side
Of a jet black hotel mirror
And I'm so weak
Is it hard understanding
I'm incomplete
A love that's so demanding
I get weak

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

These bright lights have always blinded me
These bright lights have always blinded me
I say

I see you lying next to me
With words I thought I'd never speak
Awake and unafraid
Asleep or dead

(How can I see, I see you lying) 'Cause I see you lying next to me
(How can I see, I see you lying) With words I thought I'd never speak
(How can I see, I see you lying) Awake and unafraid
(How can I see, I see you lying) Asleep or dead

'Cause I see you lying next to me
With words I thought I'd never speak
Awake and unafraid
Asleep or dead

'Cause I see you lying next to me
With words I thought I'd never speak
Awake and unafraid
Asleep or dead

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
(Or dead)
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home
(Or dead)
I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
(Or dead)
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home
(Or dead)
I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
(Or dead)
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

There's A Few Things I Should Say Before I Make My Way

Sorry, but you're going to have to deal with a lack of posting. My computer's being a royal pain in the ass these days, and I just try to ignore it as much as possible to be honest with you. Hotmail, Facebook and any sort of videos are pretty much inaccessible and the pop ups are killing me. Plus, as usual, I have nothing to talk about.

The Audition's Self-Titled Album came out today! Buy it! It's great!

Madina Lake's From Attics To Eden also came out. I had already owned that though. Heh.

The headache that was Jane Eyre is finally over and I managed to not completely bomb the test. We're onto another book now, a contemporary book of our choice at that. I'm reading Naughts And Crosses. Ever heard of it? Me neither, not 'til now anyway. It seems pretty good though.

This is going to be a pretty lame countdown since I don't plan on posting a lot, but here goes:

How long until The Believers Never Die, Part Deux Show?: 20 days!

I can't believe I'm announcing this on the internet of all places, but most of you have probably also heard that me and my mom and sister will be attending a Jonas Brothers concert this summer as well. I'm not going to lie, I am excited. But we'll wait to start that countdown. Please don't humiliate me too much.

"Dear Radisson, I don’t know how to work your sleep number beds.. sorry. Love Nick"

Nick Santino makes me think I should get a Twitter.

Danny Stevens, I'm sorry you're kind of hideous-looking, but I still love you.

All Time Low's song is on iTunes now, but thanks for all the funding offers. Pfft.

"
Dear people at fast food Japanese places, Your use of chopsticks doesn’t impress me, there are forks right next to them."

We got chocolate in English today from the AP English class. Almost as cool as snow.

Chemistry is owning my social life. Thanks.

Favorite Song Of The Week

This is such a heartbreaking song. It's really pretty, and very sad. It has great lyrics. I don't expect anything more from Jack's Mannequin than something as amazing as this. I'm sure I've said this, but I really must insist. The Glass Passenger is an amazing album. Andrew McMahon, you inspire people. You rock.

MY FAVORITE SONG THIS WEEK IS...

Hammers And Strings (A Lullaby)
by: Jack's Mannequin

These hammers and strings

Been following me around
From a box-filled garage
To the dark punk rock clubs
Of one thousand American towns
And my friend calls me up
She says, "How have you been?"
I say, "Dear I've been well
Yeah the money's come in
But I miss you like hell
I still hear you in this old piano"
She says, "Andy, I know
That we don't talk as much
But I still hear your ghost
In these old punk rock clubs
Come on, write me a song
Give me something to trust
Just promise you won't let it be
Just the keys that you touch"

"Give me something to believe in
A breath from the breathing
So write it down
I don't think that I'll close my eyes
'Cause lately I'm not dreaming
So what's the point in sleeping?
It's just that at night,
I've got nowhere to hide"
So I write you a lullaby

These hammers and strings
Been following me around
Behind passenger vans
Through the snow, dirt, and sands
Of one thousand American towns
And my friend calls me up
With her heart heavy still
She says, "Andy, the doctors
Prescribed me the pills.
But I know I'm not crazy
I just lost my will.
So why am I, why am I
Taking them still?"

"I need something to believe in
A breath from the breathing
So write it down,
I don't think that I'll close my eyes
'Cause lately I'm not dreaming
So what's the point in sleeping?
It's just that at night I've got nowhere to hide"

To the sleepless, this is my reply:
I will write you a lullaby

My Cat Is Sitting On My Arm Like An Evil James Bond Character's Cat

Don't worry, I really am alive. Although I must say, influenza B sure does take it out of you. And it takes you out of two weeks of school too, which sucks. A lot. So, if you were expecting a lot of detailed postage since I've been tardy, I'm afraid you will be disappointed, because laying immobile on a couch for two weeks does not create a lot of interesting blog material. I can tell you one thing tough; daytime television is awful. There is a reason that people get jobs - other than the fact that one needs to eat - and go to school, and that is because there is absolutely nothing on TV from about 9 until 4. It's positively atrocious. Same as Jane Eyre. Mr. Rochester's a total creeper, the book is bizarre, it's assigned reading, which I hate, and it's just all around painful to read. Classic literature, my butt. I've yet to find a redeeming quality. But, we did have a snowball fight in English today, so I guess there's one good thing that has come out of the last few weeks of class. And this snowball fight was not outside like most snowball fights are, this was in the middle of the English wing, in Mrs. Klawonn and Mrs. Harvey's classrooms. I didn't see what the other room looked like, but after the entire AP English class pelleted us with snowballs, the entire floor was covered in snow, along with the whole class. Mrs. Klawonn, on the other hand was hiding in a corner of a room while we took the hits. Very classy. It was all in good fun, though, and it pretty much made my sophomore year. I have pictures on my phone.

Now, some of you may have been left confused by that last paragraph, but you see, we live in South Dakota. We get freak spring snow storms in April. Six inches on April 4? We are not bothered. All of that snow melted on the roads by April 5? Whatevs. It happens.

There's a few new things rocking my world in music these days, and I will grace you all with those because I am a nice person.

All Time Low's new song from the new album Nothing Personal, Weightless.

Clips from two new The Audition songs from the new self-titled album.

Nevershoutnever!'s new song Losing It.

Cobra Starship's new song Pete Wentz Is The Only Reason We're Famous.

Also, Madina Lake's new album Attics To Eden leaked and I listened to it. If anyone else would like a little preview, just say so and I can show you where to listen. But, can anybody tell me who killed Madina Lake? It's so different. I kind of like it, but Madina Lake was different than everyone else, and they were good. What happened? Does anybody else think The Audition's album should also leak because it sounds like it's going to be freakin' awesome?

P.S. If anybody has the funding to purchase All Time Low's song, feel free to send me a copy.
