BOOM like a firework

Envy On The Coast is the epitome of the most powerful lyrics ever sang on the face of this planet. Or my iTunes library, whichever you feel more comfortable with.

In other news, I stole Maddy's caribbeaner (yes, that is what they are called. And yes, that is how you spell it. Thank you, Urban Dictionary), and I don't intend on giving it back. I wish giving didn't have that awful 'n' in the middle, because then the word would be the same forward and backward. Like racecar or kayak. Giving could be a sport like all the cool kids too, if it didn't have an 'n'. Did you know level is the same forward and backward? Does anybody know what words like poop and givig are called so I don't have to keep typing them as words that are the same forward and backward? Kaitlyn gave me a rock from New York, and it was amazing. I'm glad I got a souvenier, and I feel sorry for the poor rock, because it now has to live on my shrine in my house in South Dakota instead of one the crazy, smelly, dirty, amazing streets of New York.

I suppose you people want to hear about my life instead of stupid things like this. But too freakin' bad! I didn't say I "find
stupid things like blogs really funny" for no reason. And yes, I did have to go and look at what I typed as my description when I first made this blog. And I did in fact copy and paste that little tidbit, to be honest with you.

Honesty. I think it's time for some depth in life. I really just don't feel like going there right now. It seems that the world is just getting too serious for me these days. Why so serious? I won't mention anything specific, but I'm sure everyone could pinpoint a few things in their own lives that are probably the same as mine. Maybe not. But, maybe some of you wish I took things more seriously sometimes. Honestly? I like being happy most of the time. Carefree and optomistic, if you will. It always doesn't work, but I don't like thinking into things too deeply, and a lot of things in life I just find really stupid. People could avoid a lot of pain if some of the stupid things just didn't exist. I don't really know what I'm trying to say here, and this stupid blog post just got much stupider. Did it, though?

Whatever. It's just a blog and it's just life.

I'M JUST LIKE ME, I'M JUST LIKE ME. SO WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?

"Cause I fall three times as hard if it's from nothing at all. You all seem twice as tall as I will ever be. Cause I feel terribly small when my head works too hard. When you think with your chest, there's not a thing that you don't see..." (Starving Your Friends)

"It's not as deep as it seems. And as unfair as it may be, I'm just here to remind you. Remind you not to forget to remember me." (Lapse)

ENVY ON THE COAST: Dropping it like it's hot longer than you.

"Just because I'm losing doesn't mean I'm lost! Doesn’t mean I’ll stop. Doesn’t mean I'm across. Just because I'm hurting doesn't mean I'm hurt! Doesn’t mean I don’t get what I deserved, no better and no worse." (Coldplay works too, Lost!)

P.S. Countdown for my birthday, anyone?
P.P.S. I just learned that when you have more than one post-script, you add more P's, not S's. Oops. That makes countless posts by myself wrong. Double oops.
P.P.P.S. Happy December!

Do You Have Something To Confess?

Hmm...what a task at hand. Blogging. Life is bleak these days, much like the weather.

But, I went to another Remedy Drive concert! Numero cuatro! I knew there was a reason I've never skipped most of their songs. Not to mention the fact that they take up several spots on my list of most played songs...

Media from the concert, for your enjoyment.

There...a little something for everyone. Maybe a video too...

NEVER MIND

Oh I don't know...what else is there to talk about other than an awesome concert? Not much, that's the answer. How about school? Join the crowd, everyone's doing it.

Geometry's going great. Everyone loves a good scalene triangle (but what is it congruent to? What postulate proves that?). We have a student teacher for this unit. She's pretty much a horrible teacher. I understand that she's a STUDENT teacher, but really. Just let Mr. Foss teach. I'm passing with flying colors...by the way. Espanol. Always fun. I can almost speak sentences fluently. That is, only if I want to know what time you have lunch. (A la ahora tiene el almuerzo? [I think...]). Oh, chemistry...today we burned things. Like soap. And sugar. It was smelly. That's about all you need to know about chemistry, other than it is the only class I have a B in (*fumes* It's destroying my spotless GPA). Psychology is always the highlight of my day. Everyone should take it, especially if they want their faces to be melted off by the sheer amazingness. Today Mr. Aukerman made another Edward Norton reference. It's really starting to freak me out. It's like he knows... Following the highlight of my purgatory in hell, I meet the devil herself. Klawonn. Most people don't refer her as Mrs, either. Trust me, it's not just me... We've been assigned a cute little one month project this week, which is lovely. I'd rather not rant about that now, since there will probably be many more in the future. I have an A though! And to finish the day, I have Modern Civilization. Everyone needs a little history once and awhile, right? Plus I have another cool teacher, so that makes life easier.

Well that was a great little paragraph, huh? I feel quite accomplished, actually. But for something more interesting...

Fall Out Boy's new album
Folie à Deux
has been POSTPONED! TO DECEMBER! What a horrible thing, right? The three released songs, I Don't Care, Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet, and What A Catch, Donnie are amazing. I suggest everyone gets them from wherever they buy/illegally download mp3's. Also, iTunes was doing a fancy-schmancy little "Countdown to Folie à Deux" where they release something new almost every week until the old release date, which was November 4 (that's why they postponed it, because they decided they didn't want to release it on Election Day). Hopefully, those smarties at Apple won't notice and will continue to release things until everyone just has the whole album. By the way, it is now being released on December 16, 2008. How nice of them to release it two days before my birthday...

RAZIA'S SHADOW! Always on the fringes of my brain waves. I just got an e-mail today, saying it is preparing to be shipped, which is very exciting. 11 days to wait!

Twilight (the movie) is ever so quickly approaching now, as well. 35 days. Not that I'm counting. But I've had enough rants about vampire books for my own good, so I'll keep this one simple. The soundtrack also comes out soon. November 4, ironically. They're not afraid of politics, it seems. Vampires could kill 'em all...

Well, it seems I've run out of things to talk about, and my video hasn't even begun uploading. Forget that then.

Because His Brain Is Not Fully Developed

Note to everyone, this is being posted from Alissa's house due to several tragedies taking place at my own home. The first being the fact that our internet crashed on the second day of summer. Yes, it does suck as much as it sounds. I just continue to think about how many things I can't do now that we don't have any internet access. This blog, iTunes, new music, MSN, etc. The computer is really never on anymore, I just play Pokemon all day. I am an island of myself.

The next tragedy is that my parents are now teasing me with the idea of a cell phone. Do I deserve it? Yes. Do I want it? Even more. But will they buy it? NO. Just talk about it. Sheesh. And if they did, it wouldn't be on Verizon and that means no texting friends.

So now, minus MSN, e-mail, cell phone, all I have left is the land line.

I am an island of myself.

You Are the Cheese to My Macaroni

Long time no blog. I figured today would be a good opportunity to report, as something interesting has finally happened. Not only is our toilet clogged beyond belief since SOMEBODY *coughcoughMattiecoughcough* dropped a cup in and decided not to take it out before another somebody decided to use the restroom and promptly flush down said bodily wastes, but we got a new cat. That makes three animals in the house, not to mention my sister and dad. Max - the other cat, who has gone through several family pet line-up changes himself, and never was happy about them - is definitely not liking the new addition. Whereas Otto - the dog - stands outside my door whining to play with her. Do you think the cat wants to play? I thought not. But here are some pictures...

She's a 6 month old tortie cat, spayed, affectionate, insane, etc. She also doesn't have a name yet, so feel free to give us ideas, otherwise she'll just be "Kitty" and we're more creative than that, aren't we?

In other news, I have $0.02 on my iTunes account and, even better, new music! Feel free to ask if you need any recommendations. Also, I will probably fail my Persuasive Speech on Global Warming. And does anybody happen to have a nice Oral Interp. piece or a catapult handy? Projects galore in 4th quarter, I'll tell you what. Tomorrow we have a half day, going in to school at 7:30 and coming back home at 12:30. Isn't that lame? Who plans inservices on Wednesday? Fridays if they're going to make us come to school at the crack of dawn at all. I have an eye appointment right after school gets out too. What an awful day.

P.S. Juno comes out today.

Sorry about the grim title. Seems like there's a lot of that going around right now though. Spring cleaning? I seem to be shunned out of a lot of things, at least...

But enough of that..."spring break" starts tomorrow. We'll be jetting off (in a car) to Arkansas to visit family, gone all "break." As if two extra days amounts to anything. Take it or leave it, though, I guess. So, if anyone is planning on making plans, plan not to cuz I'm planning to not be planning here. Plan. That's one of those words that don't look right after typing it 6 times.

I was looking up lyrics for my new songs yesterday on Google, and guess what I found?!?!? My blog on the hitlist. Oh yeah... no wonder you stalkers can find me. Google magic my friends...

iTunes needs to go update somewhere, if you know what I mean, cuz they won't put the freakin' ne Scenes & Sirens album on! It came out FRIDAY. It is WEDNESDAY! Do I have the ability to listen to The South Will Dance Again on my handy iCRAP? No. *twitches into a rage*

CONGRATS TO ALL BLOG READERS AND MYSELF HERE AT YOU DON'T KNOW ME! THIS IS THE 50TH POST!!! WHOOO!

Alissa! Remember to give Kaitlyn the CD!

FSOTW coming soon!

Leaving for now,
your blogger.

P.S. I never realized until today how much it bothers me when some people don't have to work to get to where they are, while some of us are stuck in the back, trying to work our way up. But it's pointless, right? Because the people who got there already by not working have already taken the spot we're working toward. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Anybody else?
