From End To Beginning

JANUARY 29, 2007!!

The BIG DAY has finally arrived! An official release of music from the mysterious, availing Panic At the Disco has hit the earth at approximately NINE, IN THE AFTERNOON. I suggest you all go listen to this amazing piece of artistry at the cost of the universe collapsing in around you otherwise.

But enough about them. This is MY blog, is it not? And besides, it's not like most of my friends won't post page-long descriptions of every note in the freaking 3:13 minute piece of music on their blogs, anyway. Maybe...

Though I want to post something about myself, I have, despite myself, nothing for my periodical readers... One Act started yesterday (YAY RICH!) and I'll be seeing 1st and 7th period tomorrow in school. It better be good. But at least I have pencils to shove into my ears if it isn't. Hellth continues to inflict physical pain on me. Today we got to do the Heimlich Maneuver on each other, so the physical pain can be translated literally. I'm glad that if someone starts turning a nice shade of cerulean on me, I can save their life by doing chest thrusts. As if that's not dirty...

Things That Exist to Smite Me:
  • Algebra
  • 5B Study/Lunch
  • All My Children
  • Walls that jump out and run my face into their cement selves
  • Colds. The nose kind.
  • Cold. The 'effin chilly kind...like the outdoors.
  • Comedy Central (why would you edit out things from Vicious Circle?!@?)
  • iTunes that refuses to update

"Everyone Thinks I'm a Satist Now..."

Thanks to all the people who voted on my poll. I guess we have a few Panic fans who want envy, malice, and attention. And a break.

I'm out of town all weekend. Remember to watch Dane Cook "A Vicious Circle," on at 9 p.m., Central Time on Sunday. Comedy Central!

Nail-Less Fingers in Acid Bath

Compliments of Zoey Groman

I weaseled my way out of my speech today! Now I have to dread it another whole day! Last night I was shanking people on our Wii/GameCube game GUN. It was quite an entertaining game, actually. Their language was atrocious though... I got to slide-attack buffalo, trample wolves (and other humans), blow off people's heads (don't read into that one...), and shoot lots of weapons in general. I also killed a horse in cold blood. Ooops... No wonder its rated mature. Heh. I also kicked my mom's butt in Wii Tennis (it's a physically demanding sport!) and got K-O'ed in boxing.

Can you all tell I have NOTHING to blog about today?!

Mrs. Wehrkamp demonstrated how to exercise with a giant rubber band in health today for a good solid 15 minutes. And yes, I did catch the dagger looks she was sending me as I read - completely ignoring her. And FYI, if any of you commit suicide, don't send me any tapes listing reasons why you started pushing your own daisies. (See: TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY).

Area Formerly Known as "Central Park"

Me and Zoey went and saw Cloverfield last night. It's an amazing movie and I'd recommend it to everyone. But don't forget your motion sickness bags... There's a lot of mystery surrounding the film, so if you haven't heard anything about it, go do your research. It's really quite interesting, if you're into that type of thing. At the end of the movie, something is whispered, but Zoey and I left before we could catch it. I looked it up, and supposedly it sounds like "Help Us," but it turns out it's a backmasked. When played backwards...well, just listen to what I've included in this post, if it works for you. It really freaked me out.

Enough with my Cloverfield rant. I haven't posted for awhile, and I probably shouldn't be doing so right now, seeing as I have a speech to work on. I'm also starting a countdown for the release of "Nine In the Afternoon."

Really? Tell me more!

It makes me upset when you don't clean your room after I've told you more than once.
guess who's playing in the background?!? even though you couldn't see anything, knowing that alex was there and that music made me happy.

I'm angry when you ignore me when you're other friends are around.
i command you all to weave "snipes" into your daily conversation.

Maybe We Would All Live On...

Not much going on...as usual. A blog is such a pointless thing for my life, wouldn't you all agree? I got attacked by a gerbil at PetCo yesterday. Feel free to ask me about it sometime and I'll elaborate. I see my sweater guy a lot more often now, which makes my pathetic search for a new one a lot more depressing. Not that you internet creepers care.

In other news, I've made new discoveries and I'm going to issue all those who read this blog 3 commandments:
  1. Buy The Kicks of Passion, Powerspace's (or should I say Pow!erspace? They've found Panic's !), album. Or take a trip to your convenient file-swapping program. I'm sure it's available wherever felonies take place.
  2. Watch THIS VIDEO. It brings back good memories. For me at least. And THIS ONE, cuz the Frankie Says Relax shirt is amazing.
  3. Look up the definition for "spittlebug" it'll rock your world.

"We're So Sorry We've Been Gone"

These posts with the title "We're So Sorry We've Been Gone" will be dedicated to the ongoing mystery of Panic! at the Disco's new album. Here's what's new:

It's really no longer a mystery... The Panic website has been changed many times over the last 24 hours, so if you weren't checking up on it regularly (*cough*) you might not have seen what's been going down. Wikipedia is always a great resource for the thing's you've missed. So far, they've now unveiled the album name (Pretty. Odd.), dropped the "!" from the band name (Panic at the Disco just doesn't even look right. I was near tears...), and have announced they will be headlining the 2008 Honda Civic Tour. That's what the site's set at right now, an image with a new, !-less Panic logo and the Tour logo. There are also no hidden links or encrypted notes in the page source. These "We're So Sorry We've Been Gone" posts might just end here...

This most recent band picture is all around the web now.

"We're So Sorry We've Been Gone"

These posts with the title "We're So Sorry We've Been Gone" will be dedicated to the ongoing mystery of Panic! at the Disco's new album. Here's what's new:

The WEBSITE has been updated again! Instead of the puzzle design, we are again back to a crossword design which reads:
_P_E_T_ _ _ _D_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
It's titled 01:10:08. What's coming on Thursday? Also, the page source now just simply states "Nice to see you again" and there is something below that which says "thisisjustadivid," but I don't know if that's significant. Hmm... It gives me something to ponder about.

Everyone's Looking For a Leave

I really don't have anything interesting to post about, but I'll ramble for anyone who reads this. I'm still not completely recovered from whatever's been ailing me, and school's been going okay, (um, why does my computer say I'm spelling 'okay' wrong? odd...). Study/American Perspectives/Speech are the highlights of my day. So far in speech, I have given two 'speeches.' They're quick and painless, but I can still dread it all day, right? Another one tomorrow! On Monday the fire alarms went off in the middle of morning announcements. It obviously wasn't a drill, since it cut the announcement-reader off and all the teachers in the gym looked around like, "should we be evacuating?" But it's okay if we all burn. We're burning in hell, right? (Haha, look who got witty.) So we got outside, and lucky for the school it was nice out Monday. I won't be suing. So I was standing in the mass of people - not oblivious to the fact that our ad-room had split up, so if Mrs. Nyhaug was making sure we were all alive, tough luck for her - when I thought "hey, I wonder if my sweater guy is out here..." So I turn around and BOOM. There he is, standing oh-so-conveniently between two trucks in his sweater. A wonderful gift for a Monday. Then Alissa attacked me. All was well, and we went back inside. Turns out the construction workers had lit another fire. For like the twentieth time. I could've stood out there longer myself, I really didn't want to go to Algebra. That's about it. I continue to sit with the posse, and felt very standing-out-ish today in my bright yellow sweatshirt. More later.

When the Lights Are Dim

Well, not much has happened recently. Just the start of a new semester. I feel quite lonely now. I have NO classes with ANYONE. I'm alone at lunch (you know who you are - thanks a lot for abandoning me; kudos to the posse for inviting me to their humble table), and the only good times (not like that...) take place in American Perspectives, until we actually start learning stuff.

If anyone feels like giving me an extra pat on the back, since all you people seem to have lots of friends in your classes, it would be greatly appreciated. :(

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO'S VOTED ON MY POLL! I DIDN'T KNOW I HAD 12 FRIENDS...
